During service, Agniveers contribute a part of their salary to the Seva Nidhi fund, and the Government makes a matching contribution. The amount payable at the end of service depends on the applicable rules and interest.

Job Reservations and Age Relaxation
Some government departments, security forces and other organisations have announced job reservations or age relaxations for eligible ex-Agniveers.
These benefits are not the same everywhere. Always check the relevant recruitment notification to confirm eligibility.
