Documents to Keep Ready

  • Class 10 and 12 certificates and mark sheets, if applicable.
  • Identity proof and residence certificate, wherever required.
  • Skill and training certificates received during service.
  • Service or discharge certificate, once issued.
  • Recent passport-size photographs.
  • Copies of official job notifications for which you plan to apply.

Plan Before Your Service Ends

  • 12 months before: Identify suitable jobs, courses and training options.
  • 9 months before: Check your educational qualifications and required documents.
  • 6 months before: Prepare for required examinations and physical tests.
  • 3 months before: Check open vacancies, apply on time and note examination dates.
  • At discharge: Complete Seva Nidhi formalities as instructed by your unit.

How to Identify Fake Job Notices

  • The notice is available only on WhatsApp or social media.
  • Someone asks for money or an OTP to arrange a job.
  • Selection is promised without the required process.
  • The notice cannot be verified on the official website.
